FERROUS METALS
Ferrous metals are mainly composed of iron and have magnetic properties. Ferrous scrap is also referred to as, iron and steel scrap.
Applications: Ferrous scrap can be processed and re-melted repeatedly to form new products.
NON-FERROUS METALS
Non-ferrous metals do not contain iron which gives them a higher resistance to rust and corrosion. Additionally Non-ferrous metals are far more malleable with their ability to be pressed out of shape without breaking and are considerably lighter when compared to ferrous metals.
CARBON & NONFUEL MINERALS
Most minerals are composed of metals but are also defined simply as an ore mineral that is mined and has commercial usage and value. They are used in multiple applications.
REFINED PETROLEUM
Refined petroleum products are derived from crude oils through processes such as catalytic cracking and fractional distillation. These products have physical and chemical characteristics that differ according to the type of crude oil and subsequent refining processes.
